Travel Blog is up and running!

Well.... I've dusted off my old blog and will be using this more from now on.  It will be used MUCH more often when I am traveling to Japan vs. a "regular" day.  Here I will be posting updates for the Kizuna trip (once we leave) as well as some daily questions durning my absence.

Additionally, I will also post things when I am travelling on my own to Japan this summer.

Although we all aren't able to go to Japan this year, there are more ways than you're probably aware of.  One is USA Summer Camp.  I have been an American Director for them for 3 summers and it was an amazing experience.    Typically, they like older students (18+ years old)...BUT they have accepted students as young as 16.

USA Summer Camp is a volunteer experience where you are a camp counselor at an immersive English camp in Japan.  Although you're not allowed to speak Japanese at camp because campers will then not try to speak English, you have breaks and home stays (sometimes) where you can flex your Japanese muscles.   To learn more about this watch the video below.

Also, you can find a ton of other videos on YouTube if you search for USA Summer Camp.
